Blackberry Pearl Hacks

I'm a crazy game fan who can not live without games. So I download all kinds of possible games to my cell phone. Soon it's stuffed with hundreds of games. I am so proud of my achievements that I keep playing these games in my spare time. I also show off my ability to my classmates by switching quickly from one game to another. They all admire at my "strong" ability and smartness. However, I know it doesn't owe to me, but to my secret weapon- MemoryUp.

About one month ago, I was almost driven crazy by my BlackBerry because it kept running down when I was playing games. Till now, I still remember the day when I indulged myself in the games world, my BlackBerry Pearl suddenly became slow like a snail. Whatever I tried, it just ceased to work anymore. Finally, I lost my temper and closed my BlackBerry. Then in the following couple of days, I searched the information through the internet and I knew the reason caused my BlackBerry not to work any more was the memory can not be managed in a good way.

For a BlackBerry, there are dozens of JVM (Java Virtual Machine) based programs running in the front-end or back-end. When you run an application, the operating system will allocate certain space for it in the RAM. What is RAM? That's short for the Random Access Memory, which is used to store the information quickly. Take an example, if you run application A, then the system gives it 20% space in the RAM. And 25% for the application B. Now it only have 55% RAM to run the other applications, which used to take 100% RAM to do. It is natural the system will become quite snow.

Then here comes my savior- MemoryUp (Blackberry RAM & Memory Booster). After I input the keyword "Boost Blackberry RAM" and searched with Google, MemoryUp jumped into my eyes. The introduction on eMobiStudio's website says MemoryUp is a powerful Java virtual machine (JVM) management and RAM boosting application specially designed for high-end smartphones (including Nokia, Samsung, Sony Ericsson etc) and BlackBerry. It is designed for taking control of JVM for each smart phone system, smartly analyze running programs (including hidden programs), automatically allocate and recover occupied RAM, and boost system to its best performance.

Yeah, that's just what I need. In fact, I have not expected too much when I downloaded it from eMobiStudio. But after I installed it onto my BlackBerry, it really worked! My phone returned to normal again! In fact, my BlackBerry runs much faster and more stable than ever. I've never imagine a BlackBerry Pearl can be so fast and stable when running dozens of softwares at the same time.

  • There are good features for High definition editting and Blu-Ray disk creation, but my WinDVD BD player has mysteriously stopped playing commercial Blu-Ray disks twice now. Just as mysteriously the functionality returns after days of experimenting with options to find out what's making it fail. I still have no clue as to what the problem is.

Ive had many laptops. My favorite was my mac book, to bad for the hard drive randomly dieing. This computer is close to a mac book.

Looks great! Thin and textured. Light weight. Screen is bright and beautiful.

Windows vista is really cool. Ive heard so many bad things about vista, I like it better than Windows XP. After a service pack and a couple of years, vista will be a good operating system. Windows XP was looked down upon from the start.

It kinda gets hot! That worries me. Wouldn't put it on my lap.

Upgraded the memory, it had two 512 memory cards installed, so when you buy a 1 gig card, one 512 goes buy buy.

Keyboard is awesome! Keys are spread out and aren't to close together, wished there was a scroll wheel built in though.
